Nicole Mease, Editor-in-Chief
Nicole Mease is the Editor in Chief of the Sword & Shield newspaper. She has been in journalism since her freshman year of high school and plans on continuing her journalism career at the University of South Carolina.
When she’s not writing, she likes to read political satires and watch dystopian movies like “The Maze Runner” or “The Hunger Games.” She enjoys shopping and getting her hair done, if you haven’t noticed by the pink in her hair.
She hopes that the Sword & Shield staff will continue to grow after she has graduated from LDHS and that we can one day beat Wando High School as best newspaper in the state.
