Building construction classes are currently revamping the soccer locker room. The students are installing drywall and painting the walls.

According to building construction teacher Joseph Adams, the students also have “an out-of-class field trip that is like a community outreach project with Hospice. They are doing a wheelchair-accessible ramp for a lady in Clinton.”

The younger guys in building construction are currently in the basic safety stages of the class. According to Adams, this is where they learn the ins and outs of construction.  Any projects that the classes are working on at the moment are going to be for the older guys. Adams says that any chance he gets, he is going “to try to get the kids up and out of the classroom.”
