Freshman Bri Horgan was the girls’ soccer Player of the Game in a 5-0 loss to Greenwood April 20. In spite of the loss, coach Daniel Sorrow recognized Horgan’s contributions to the Raiders’ effort.
“Bri did an excellent job of pressuring the ball, which created many opportunities for the team. Unfortunately they weren’t able to capitalize on any of those opportunities, but that didn’t keep her from displaying a spectacular effort throughout the game,” he said.
The Lady Raiders’ next contest is at Southside High School April 26 at 5:30 p.m.
