Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of peanut butter
- 6 tsp of butter- can be melted or softened
- 2 cups of confectioners sugar
- 1 pack of candiquik chocolate
Steps:
- Soften butter in microwave.
- Mix the cup of peanut butter, the two cups of sugar and the butter in a bowl until a st texture is formed.
- Roll the mixture into balls.
- Melt the chocolate and dip the peanut butter balls in the chocolate.
- Place on wax paper, let cool and enjoy.
Rudolf’s Treats: Makes 20
Ingredients:
- ¼ cup of melted butter
- ⅓ cup of peanut butter
- ½ cup of brown sugar
- 1 cup of oatmeal
- Powdered sugar
- Chocolate
Steps:
- In a bowl, mix the melted butter, peanut butter, brown sugar and oatmeal.
- Roll mix into balls and place on wax paper.
- Dust with powdered sugar and drizzle chocolate on top.
Haystacks:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of butterscotch chips
- ½ cup of peanut butter
- ½ salted peanuts (optional)
- 2 cups of chow mein noodles
Steps:
- Melt the butterscotch and peanut butter and blend them together.
- Stir the peanuts and chow mein noodles in the mixture carefully.
- Drop a forkful onto the wax paper and cool.
Christmas Caramels:
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of light corn syrup
- 1 lb of brown sugar
- 1 can of condensed sweet milk
- ½ lb of butter
- 1 cup of chopped nuts (optional)
Steps:
- Mix together ingredients.
- Stir while it simmers for a few minutes
- Put it in a pan and let cool.
- Cut into pieces and wrap them in wax paper.
Santa’s Hats:
Ingredients:
- Bag of green and red M&Ms
- Bag of Bugles
- White chocolate
Steps:
- Melt white chocolate.
- Dip the open end of the Bugles in white chocolate.
- Top with the open end with an M&M.
- Place on wax paper.
Chocolate Mint Candy:
Ingredients:
- 2 cups (12oz) semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 can (14oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tsp of vanilla extract
- 2 to 3 tsp of peppermint extract
- 6 oz of white candy coating — chopped
- 3 drops of green food coloring
Steps:
- In a heavy saucepan, melt the chocolate chips with 1 cup of milk.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Spread ½ onto wax paper lined in an 8-inch square pan and chill until firm.
- Melt the white chocolate with the remaining milk until the white chocolate is smooth.
- Sir the peppermint and the green food coloring in with the white chocolate.
- Spread the mixture onto the first chocolate layer and let chill for 10 minutes.
- Warm the remaining chocolate mixture and spread this over the mint layer.
- Chill for 2 hours; remove from pan.
- Cut into 1-inch squares.
