One of our recent former Raiders, 18-year-old Joselin S Flores, ‘18, is in pursuit of  the goals she set for herself throughout her high school years.

After graduation, she focused on being a stay-at-home mother. Flores says that being a mother and a student was not easy, but it was worth it in the long run. She hopes to become a certified nurse assistant in April because she wants to be able to help people.

One of the things Flores misses of LDHS are the pep rally’s because “that’s when the whole school would get together and have fun.” Her pride group was like another family and that she will always remember them. Flores says that a skill she learned during her time at LDHS was photoshop and she continues to use that with her photographs.

She advises the current LDHS students to not skip class because it could set students behind on work.
