Freshman Alli Phillips’ favorite quote is “You can feel pain when you see the checkered flag.” Phillips thinks LDHS is way better than her old school in Brevard, even though she hates Laurens. One new thing she has experienced at the high school is iLunch. A teacher that has impacted Phillips is Mrs.DeDe Bolt. Of Bolt, Phillips said, “She made me not hate math.”
