Eighth grade students from various middle schools in Laurens District 55 visited LDHS during the Eighth Grade Expo Nov. 8. In the Auxiliary Gym, student groups set up tables containing information about the various clubs, activities and classes offered at the high school. Student Council also took the eighth graders on tours of the school to give them insight on what exactly goes on at LDHS.

From what Sword & Shield could see, most looked forward to attending LDHS in ninth grade and abandoning their middle school ways to become Raiders. The high school will welcome these future freshmen with open arms at the start of the 2018-2019 school year.
